August 13, 2013 ANNAPOLIS, MD –iJET International, Inc. (iJET) today announced a key promotion and expansion of its Global Response Operations division. iJET’s Global Response Operations is one of iJET’s core operational risk management program capabilities and an integral growth initiative of the company. Global Response Operations provides emergency preparedness and operational management of on-the-ground, in-country security and medical response services delivered through its network of global response partners.

George Taylor, promoted to Managing Director, Global Response Operations Global Response Operations is led by George Taylor, who has been promoted from Director to Managing Director. Georgeis responsible for all aspects of iJET’s 24x7 response and security operations, including oversight of the divisions’ processes, operations, personnel and global response partners.

George joined iJET in 2012 and has been instrumental in building and expanding the group’s global capabilities around response execution and service delivery.  He has subject matter expertise in security management, protective services and surveillance detection at the operator and program level and joined iJET after a successful career as founder and owner of a company providing leadership and program development to sensitive government and commercial initiatives worldwide.

Previous to this, George conceived, implemented and spent 8 years as Program Manager, Protective Services and Threat Intelligence for The Glock Group. Prior to this experience, George was employed as Senior Director, Crucible, where he managed high threat protective operations and training worldwide. George has twenty-two years of Marine Corps operational and training management experience, including leadership positions in 1st Force Reconnaissance Company as well as Chief, Special Missions Branch, Special Operations Training Group.

Michael Payne, CPP, joins as Security Operations Manager Reporting to George Taylor is Michael (Mike) Payne, Security Operations Manager, who joined iJET in March, 2013. Mike is responsible for security operations, planning, risk analyses, evaluations, systems design, training, and emergency assistance. Mike joins iJET from a career managing the integrated operations, security systems design, physical security implementation, physical and cyber security integration, procedural development, and personnel situational awareness and safety for critical infrastructure and key resource corporations.

He was one of the first of eight civilians to be certified by the US Department of State, Diplomatic Security Training Center in support of a Presidential Decision Directive and other high-threat Diplomatic Security Service diplomatic missions. Mike also brings his experience in leading and developing strategic forward-planning and operations from the US Army with extensive Special Forces experience in intelligence, engineering, operations and anti/counterterrorism. Bob Howell joins as Response Programs Manager

Also joining iJET’s Global Response Operations group and reporting to George, is Bob Howell, Response Programs Manager, who is responsible for response projects, security assistance and the iJET Global Response Network. Bob joined iJET in July, 2013 and brings over 20 years of business operations, security, and intelligence operations experience, including travel risk management programs, security management, and protective intelligence. Bob’s professional career has encompassed a successful business owner, President of a Brazilian consumer electronics company, Sr. Vice President of Engineering and Manufacturing for a public technology development company, and Director of a defensive Counter intelligence Program for a Department of Defense Contractor.

Prior to joining iJET, Bob was the Crisis, Protective Service and Investigative Lead for Accenture’s Global Asset Protection Team, where he managed a team of professionals responsible for crisis response, protective service operations and internal investigations.

A decorated Marine Corps veteran of Desert Shield/Desert Storm, he served as a Counterintelligence Sub-team Commander responsible for providing global technical mission support for both defensive and offensive counter intelligence special operations. ”We are pleased to have the depth of resources and experience this team brings to the Response Operations mission.
