Buying Business Travel featured the new Worldcue Communicator solution in its Travel Management news section. Worldcue Communicator bridges the gap between threat exposures and two-way communications to help save lives. It offers global real-time intelligence, recipient list creation of travelers who may be at risk based on their current location, and incident management with two-way communications.

The article briefly describes the process when utilizing Worldcue Communicator: "If there is an incident or warning of an event, WorldAware alerts its clients by the Worldcue Companion platform, which can be accessed via computer, mobile phone, email, or SMS text message. The Worldcue platform then builds an on-demand list of travelers near the event, with location awareness achieved through the integration of assigned location, mobile location reporting, active travel itinerary and other reporting data."

Travel managers can then forward the alert to travelers and check if they are in need of assistance. Messages can be auto-sent at defined intervals until a response is received.
