USA Today released video surveillance of Iranian missiles taking down Ukraine International Airlines flight 752. The news article, featuring Regional Intelligence Manager Fahim Masoud, relays that the second missile ensured there would be no survivors. The plane attempted to circle back to Imam Khomeini International Airport, but fell in flames.
Masoud told USA Today that "the plane disaster exposed the incompetence of the regime and its military forces. It also reflected the government's fears of an overwhelming U.S. strike." He went on to state, "The second missile strike will definitely trigger outrage both inside and outside Iran. This incident will haunt the Iranian regime and Iranians for years to come."
