Summary
Germany's flag carrier airline, Lufthansa (LH), announced thousands of flight cancellations through April 24 due to reduced demand as a result of the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) pandemic. The cancellations affect short, medium, and long-haul services. Lufthansa's main hub airports, Frankfurt (FRA) and Munich (MUC), have been worst affected with dozens of services canceled daily.

Lufthansa previously canceled around 50 percent of flight services due to the impact of coronavirus. Further flight cancellations are possible over the coming weeks.
