The purpose of the event is to draw attention to former President John Mahama's petition before the Supreme Court challenging the outcome of Ghana's December 2020 presidential election. Participants will assemble at the Kwame Nkrumah Circle starting at 0730 before proceeding to the Electoral Commission Headquarters and the Supreme Court; the march will end at Mantse Agbona Park.

A heightened security presence and localized transportation disruptions are likely. Clashes between demonstrators and security forces cannot be ruled out.
