Reports on Wednesday, October 14, indicate that an improvised explosive device (IED) blast occurred in the Hesa-i-Awal area of Kabul's Police District 11 (PD11). The incident took place at around 07:00 (local time), with the IED targeting an Afghan National Police (ANP) vehicle. Local media reports claim that one police officer was injured. Currently, no group has claimed responsibility for the attack.

Localized disruptions are possible in the abovementioned areas in the near term. Those in Kabul should be mindful of the possibility of further attacks.
