Anti-government demonstrations continued nationwide on Friday, September 25, for a sixth consecutive day to protest against President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi. Context

The protests, which began on Sunday, September 20, were reportedly called for by Egyptian entrepreneur Mohamed Ali, currently in exile in Spain. September 20 marks the first anniversary of similar anti-government protests in September 2019, which followed Mohamed's revelations about President Sisi's alleged corruption.
