France: Climate change activists to gather in cities nationwide September 25

Climate change activists are planning to gather in a number of cities across the country on Friday, September 25. In Lyon (Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region), demonstrators will gather at Place Guichard from 13:00 (local time) whilst in Nantes (Pays de la Loire region), a rally will occur at Place Royale from 15:00. Protesters are also expected to gather at Gare de Pontoise in Pontoise (Île-de-France region) from 17:00.

A heightened security presence and localized transportation disruptions are to be expected in the vicinity of the protests.
