The incident occurred on Rue Nicolas Appert, off Boulevard Richard Lenoir at around 11:45 (local time). Four people were reportedly injured in the attack, two seriously. Following initial reports that there was more than one attacker, authorities have said that this is false and there is no longer any threat to the public. A heightened security presence and overland disruptions are expected in the vicinity of the incident in the coming hours as investigations into the attack continue.
