Libya: Heavy rain causes flooding in western coastal areas September 15

Heavy rain caused flooding on some of Tripoli's main routes on Tuesday, September 15. Other areas along the main western coastal road have also reported flooding, with road subsidence occurring on the coastal road near Castelverde (Gasr Garabulli).

Further rain is forecast through at least Wednesday, September 16, and further flooding and associated disruptions to transport are likely in the coming days.
