IED blast kills several civilians outside of Hudur (Bakool region) on September 15; similar attacks are possible across the region

Several civilians were reportedly killed on Tuesday, September 15, after an improvised explosive device (IED) struck an autorickshaw carrying them on the outskirts of Hudur (Bakool region). Unconfirmed media sources indicate that a vehicle traveling to Aboore village, approximately 25km (15 mi) from Hudur, hit the roadside bomb, killing several and wounding at least two others. The exact number of casualties is not yet confirmed. No group has claimed responsibility for the attack at this time.

Localized disruptions are possible in the area in the immediate term. Further attacks cannot be ruled out.
