A landslide killed two people and injured several others on Wednesday, June 17, on the outskirts of Yamaranguila municipality (Intibucá province) in western Honduras.

Moderate to heavy rain is forecast over western Honduras on Thursday, June 18, and Friday, June 19.

Disruptions to travel and infrastructure are to be anticipated in the coming days as a result of the adverse weather.
