A group of unidentified gunmen abducted three men in the Akoko North East local government area (LGA) in Ondo state on Saturday, May 18. According to police reports issued on Monday, May 20, the victims were traveling along the Auga-Ikare road to attend a wedding when they were stopped by the attackers. The wife and children of one of the men were reportedly left to report the case for possible ransom negotiations. As of May 20, a security operation is ongoing to find the victims.
