India: Police defuse bomb in Maharashtra February 21

The bomb was found in Apta village and safely defused around 04:00 (local time). This discovery follows another incident on Wednesday, February 20, in Thane (Maharashtra state) when a man threw a small explosive into a street. Police have also recently received bomb threats in Nashik, though no explosives were found. Heightened security measures are likely across the state, particularly in public transportation hubs and near government buildings.
