Israel/Palestinian Terr.: Raids leave 28 wounded in Al-Bireh (West Bank) Jan. 7

Israel Defense Forces (IDF) troops carried out raids in Al-Bireh (West Bank) for a second consecutive day on Monday, January 7, confiscating security camera recordings and leaving some 28 Palestinians wounded. Palestinian youths reportedly threw stones at the soldiers, who responded by firing tear gas and rubber bullets. Similar IDF operations are possible in the West Bank over the coming weeks.

Due to the underlying terrorist threat, travelers in Israel, the West Bank, and the Gaza Strip are advised to report any suspicious objects or behavior to the authorities.
