Algeria: Red weather alerts issued for northern regions October 28

Red alerts for heavy rain were issued for 26 provinces in northern Algeria on Sunday, October 28. According to weather officials, the red alerts will remain in place through at least Monday, October 29. The full list of affected provinces can be found Algeria's National Weather Office's website.

Associated transportation disruptions are expected, along with possible power outages and infrastructural damage.
