Rail workers’ union cancels June 6 strike on London Tube’s Jubilee line; June 14 strike still planned

The Rail, Maritime, and Transportation (RMT) union canceled a strike planned on the London Tube’s Jubilee line set for Wednesday, June 6. A second strike is still scheduled on the Jubilee line for Thursday, June 14, unless an agreement can be reached in the coming days. The June 6 strike was called off after Transport for London (TfL) officials reached an agreement with RMT leaders on the evening of Tuesday, June 5 (local time).
