Greek government implements new regulations on foreigners drivers

Starting mid-May, tourists in Greece from non-European Union countries will only be able to rent a car or motorcycle if they have an international drivers license. In addition to their international driving license, they will also need to have their national permit from their home country. Tourists who do not comply with the new regulations, as well as the car rental company, face being fined and the vehicle confiscated.
