France: Traffic disruptions on A15 near Gennevilliers

Traffic disruptions are ongoing along the A15 highway around Gennevilliers (Val-d’Oise department) as of Thursday, May 17. Department officials have closed the A15 in the direction of Cergy-Paris after a bridge partially collapsed on Tuesday, May 15. Repair efforts are ongoing and officials believe that at least one out of the four lanes will be reopened on either Saturday, May 19, or Sunday, May 20. Motorists traveling to Paris through Gennesvilliers are being advised to use the A14 highway or the A1 as an alternative route.
