Italy: Air and rail workers to strike in Milan May 26

Air and rail workers are planning to hold strikes in Milan on Saturday, May 26. Staff at the Malpensa Airport (MXP) and the Linate Airport (LIN) have announced that a 24-hour strike will be observed between 00:01-23:59 (local time). Operators for the FSI, Trenord, and NTV rail companies also said that they will strike starting at 22:00 on May 26 until 05:59 on Sunday, May 27. Additional rail and bus work stoppages are expected to take place in Milan on May 27, resulting in further transportation disruptions.
