On Sunday, May 6, at least two people were killed and 45 others wounded in violent protests and clashes on the Mali-Guinea border near Kourémalé (in the Koulikoro region of Mali). The clashes reportedly broke out during a protest organized by a group of Malian nationals attempting to cross into Guinea.
