Officials have announced that repairs at Chandigarh International Airport (IXC) originally scheduled from May 12 through May 31 will be extended to June 3. IXC will also temporarily resume operations between May 18-20 for a governors’ conference that will be attended by President Ram Nath Kovind, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, and governors of different states. India’s High Court is expected to announce a final decision on how long operations will be suspended at IXC on Tuesday, April 17.
