Disruptions to air and road travel due to snow in Rome February 26

Rare snowfall in Rome on Monday, February 26, has resulted in transportation disruptions and school closures, prompting the government to call in the army to assist with clearing the streets. Flight disruptions are expected at Rome Fiumicino International Airport (FCO) and Rome Ciampino International Airport (CIA); Ryanair has canceled all of its flights to and from CIA for Monday.
