The Icelandic Met Office has issued orange weather warnings (the second-highest on a five-tiered scale) for blizzard and dangerous travel conditions in the south, which remain in effect as of Wednesday, February 14. Hazardous driving conditions have been reported in these areas due to poor visibility, snow, and ice, with certain roads remaining closed or impassable.
