SNCF, the national rail operator, has advised all customers in Île-de-France (Greater Paris region) to postpone nonessential travel as of Wednesday morning.

School buses have been suspended in all or parts of the departments of Orne, Eure, Seine-Saint-Denis, Essonne, Yvelines, Seine-et-Marne, and Marne, as well as the Centre-Val de Loire region. Authorities have requested that those in affected areas avoid driving personal vehicles due to dangerous road conditions.
