The UK Met Office has issued a yellow snow and ice warnings across much of the UK from Monday, February 5, through to Wednesday, February 7. Officials expect sleep and snow to sweep southeast across the UK on Monday, with the worst weather effecting Scotland and Northern Ireland, with icy conditions to last through Tuesday and into Wednesday morning. Wintry showers and ice are also expected across southeast and eastern England on Monday.
Icy conditions are expected to cause dangerous driving conditions, especially on untreated roads, and possible disruption to rail travel.
