The Ministry of Health has announced that the government will hire 150-200 doctors on temporary contracts to address staffing issues created by the strike. Negotiations continue between the government and the doctors.

Private clinics continue to operate, although increased demand and waiting times are to be anticipated throughout the duration of the public-sector strike.
