Rail disruptions in capital region on the San José-Heredia line due to October 30 train crash

Two trains collided in Santo Domingo around 18:00 on Monday, October 30, leaving a number of passengers injured, including several in serious condition. Rail services on the line linking the capital San José with Heredia have been temporarily suspended.
Context
At this stage of the investigation, the accident is believed to have been caused by human error.
