Air Berlin was forced to cancel flights for a second consecutive day on Wednesday, September 13, after 149 of its pilots reportedly called in “sick.” At least 32 flights were canceled and further disruptions to flights departing from various airports, including Tegel (TXL), Duesseldorf (DUS), Hamburg (HAM), and Cologne (CGN) international airports are expected throughout the day.

On Tuesday, 200 Air Berlin pilots called in sick, causing the airline to cancel over 100 domestic and international flights.
