British authorities have reported that a large fire has engulfed a housing complex in Latimer Road, west London, beginning at approximately 01:10 (local time) on Wednesday, June 14. The Metropolitan Police have stated that numerous people are being treated for injuries, and eyewitnesses claim that several people remain trapped in the apartment complex. Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan, declared a "major incident" was underway, and there are fears that the tower block may collapse.

Emergency services have commenced rescue operations, and police have implemented a cordon around the complex. Transportation disruptions are possible in the vicinity of the fire.
