Air India Express (IX) flight disruptions are ongoing as of May 8 due to a cabin crew shortage. Cabin crew members have collectively reported sick to protest the alleged mismanagement of the airline. Since the evening of May 7, Air India Express has canceled more than 80 domestic and international flights. Officials have not provided a timeline for when services will normalize.
