The Angola Student Movement (MEA) plan to protest in Luanda Sept. 9 against alleged corrupt university admission processes and poor studying conditions. They are demanding additional admissions to public universities, amongst other issues. The march is set to begin at the Largo das Escolas Plaza from 10:00 and end in front of the Ministry of Education around 13:00.

Heightened security and localized traffic disruptions are likely along the protest route, especially near the Ministry of Education. Clashes may occur if protesters are overly disruptive or are forcibly dispersed by police.
