Antalya utility provider Akdeniz Elektrik Dagıtim is conducting planned maintenance work on its power lines from July 10-13. Many areas in Antalya Province will experience electricity supply disruptions of 5-7 hours each day from 09:30-16:30. Multiple districts will be impacted, including those in urban centers.

Business and telecommunications disruptions are possible in areas subject to power outages; cellular and mobile services could be affected. Malfunctioning traffic signals could result in road transport disruptions. Trains may also experience delays if outages impact signaling devices or overhead wires. Additionally, power outages could result in the temporary unavailability of essential services, such as ATMs and filling stations.

There is an increased security threat during power outages. Power cuts could adversely affect security protocols, including alarm systems and electronic fences; opportunistic criminal activity could increase.
