Swiss authorities stop cross-border public transportation from Geneva to France as of late June 30. Disruptions likely.

Warning

Event

Swiss authorities stop all cross-border public transportation on Geneva Public Transport (Transports Publics Genevois, TPG) between Geneva and France as of late June 30. The move comes at the request of French officials amid the ongoing unrest on the French side of the border.

TPG officials have announced that certain bus lines will operate with modified routes. Lines 17, 38, D, G, and K will be in service along with Nightbus lines NA and NE; however, travelers should expect cross-border transport disruptions on the listed lines; bus routes will only operate in Switzerland. Additionally, TPG lines 64,66,68, F, and Lines M and N, are canceled. Other cancelations are announced on the TPG Flex 21:00-21:30 bus routes servicing Viry-Eglise and Viry P+R and on ALPBUS lines 272 and 274 from 19:30 June 30. More information regarding impacted routes can be found here.

Cross-border transport disruptions will likely occur until authorities resume normal operations.
