The National Weather Service's Storm Prediction Center has warned of a moderate risk of severe thunderstorms across portions of western north Texas and western Oklahoma. An enhanced risk is in place for the rest of the affected area. The storms will likely be accompanied by damaging winds and possible tornadoes.
