Spain: Unionized Air Nostrum pilots to embark on indefinite strike action from Feb. 27

Air Nostrum (YW) pilots associated with the Sindicato Espanol de Pilotos de Lineas Aereas (Spanish Union of Airline Pilots, SEPLA) will embark on indefinite strike action on Mondays and Fridays starting Feb. 27 to demand changes to working conditions. Disruptions could extend for several hours after each strike period ends as the carrier moves to reposition aircraft and resolve any passenger backlogs.

Confirm flights if booked to fly with Air Nostrum on strike affected days. Do not check out of accommodations until onward travel is confirmed. Arrive early at airports to prevent your seat from being allocated to a standby passenger. Consider alternate arrangements for critical travel.
