The Nagaland State unit of the Indian National Congress (INC) party plan to hold a day-long march in Dimapur Nov. 19 to commemorate the birth anniversary of former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi. Dozens of participants will march from D.C. Court Junction from 07:00 to Chumukedima, with stops for public addresses at Supermarket and 4th Mile areas.

Heightened security is likely near gathering sites. Localized transport disruptions are possible near rally venues and along the march route, particularly Asian Highway 1. Skirmishes could occur between INC supporters and police, especially if activists block roadways.

Dimapur is approximately 120 km (75 miles) northwest of Imphal.
