Two freight trains collided in an uninhabited area between Leiferde and Dalldorf in Lower Saxony on the main railway line between Hanover and Berlin, Nov. 17. Rescue and response operations are hampered by the leak of propane gas at the scene. There were no casualties.

The railway line will remain closed while response teams secure the area. Train services between Hanover and Berlin will be disrupted and delayed.
