Participants intend to denounce the Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike's (BBMP) decision to relinquish its claim on the Idgah Maidan, which strike organizers demand be used for Hindu festivals. Participants also plan to hold a bike rally from Sirsi Circle to Idgah Maidan July 12. Organizers may hold other protests in the area; activists will likely gather near Idgah Maidan and major intersections in the Chamarajpet area. Dozens to a couple of hundred people will likely participate in protests.
