Agricultural workers affiliated with the National Farming Federation (Federacion Nacional Campesina, FNC) and indigenous organizations will are gathering to protest in Asuncion as of 08:00 March 24. Activists are gathering at Seminario Metropolitano and will march to Plaza Juan E. O'leary. Protesters are likely to march through Avenida Kubitschek, Avenida Eusebio Ayala, Avenida Felix de Azara, and Independencia Nacional road. Participants will likely protest due to the rising prices of fuel and a law that allegedly increases penalties on land occupation, among other issues.

Up to a few thousand protesters may gather in Asuncion March 24. Heightened security around the protest areas and associated transport and business disruptions are likely. Clashes and acts of violence are unlikely but cannot be ruled out.
