Warning

Event

Activists associated with The Line Canada movement plan to protest in Toronto, Ontario, Feb. 12, to oppose COVID-19-related restrictions and mandates. Activists intend to gather at Queen's Park from 12:00.

Additionally, authorities have deployed additional security around Queen's Park due to the possibility that a truckers' convoy protest may move into the area. On late Feb. 9, police closed Queen's Park to traffic from College Street to Bloor Street to prevent a truckers' convoy from reaching the area.

Disruptions around the protest site are almost certain. Heightened security in the area, and additional road closures, are also probable. Counter-protests, as well as clashes between protesters and police, cannot be ruled out.
