The National Association of Nigeria Nurses and Midwives (NANNM) in Lagos plans a three-day strike from 08:00 Jan. 10 through 08:00 Jan. 12. The action is to denounce the alleged Lagos State Government’s failure to provide enough staff, and adequate wage and working conditions.

Unless averted, the actions could cause disruptions to hospital operations and health institutes in Lagos. Related protests remain possible in the vicinity of medical facilities and government buildings, such as the Lagos State Government building.
