Kenya: Dubai Civil Aviation Authorities suspend flights from Kenya for 48 hours from Dec. 20

Dubai Civil Aviation Authorities (DCAA) have indicated that it has suspended its flights traveling from Kenya to Dubai International Airport (DXB), UAE, effective 10:30 Dec. 20. The measure will remain in effect through Dec. 22. Inbound and transit passengers from Kenya to DXB are impacted; however, outbound passenger operations from DXB to Kenya remain unaffected. Ferry flights and freighter operations will remain operational. The reason for the suspension remains unclear.

Increased demand for alternative flights is likely through Dec. 22.
