Residual transport and business disruptions are likely in western Albuquerque, New Mexico, through June 26 following a hot air balloon crash earlier in the day. Five people were killed after a hot air balloon crashed into power lines near the intersection of Central Avenue and Unser Boulevard at approximately 07:00; power was initially knocked out to more than 13,000 customers in the vicinity and has since been restored. Authorities have not yet determined the cause of the crash.

A heightened security presence is likely near the crash site over the coming hours.
