US: State of West Virginia to maintain minimal COVID-19 restrictions until June 20 /update 25

Authorities in West Virginia have issued orders to maintain the requirement for unvaccinated individuals to wear facemasks in indoor public settings until at least June 20, as part of the state's efforts to curb the spread of COVID-19.

Fully vaccinated individuals are no longer required to wear facemasks in indoor public settings, except where required by federal law and in some private businesses and school systems.

All other previously imposed restrictions on businesses, including requirements to impose social distancing measures, have been lifted. State officials continue to recommend certain health measures, which can be found by clicking here.

Authorities could reimpose or otherwise amend restrictions over the coming weeks, should health authorities observe a spike in disease activity.
