DRC: Unknown assailants kill three in Masisi attacks, May 15-16

Unknown assailants killed at least three people in separate attacks in Masisi, May 15-16. The fatal incidents were reported in Nyabiondo, Lukweti, and Karunda. A fourth victim, a security officer, was injured in Yordani, May 16. The nature and motivation for the attacks are currently unclear; however, the security situation in North Kivu remains severe despite the ongoing state of siege.
