Senegal: Protests reported in Dakar, Feb. 26

Multiple protests are occurring in Dakar Feb. 26. Protests in support of the politician Ousmane Sonko have been reported in the vicinity of the Dior des Parcelles Assainies Roundabout, as well as in the Rufisque and Patte d'Oie areas. Protesters have reportedly burnt debris and erected blockades. Demonstrations are to show support for Sonko, who is facing criminal charges.
