Andorra maintains COVID-19 measures as of Feb. 24. Travel and business disruptions remain.

Warning

Event

Authorities in Andorra are maintaining COVID-19-related restrictions as of Feb. 24. Under current directives, most businesses are permitted to operate; however, capacity limits and restricted operating hours remain in effect, as do social distancing mandates stipulating that members of different households keep at least 1.5 meters (5 feet) apart. Public gatherings are restricted to no more than four persons, and facemasks are required in all public places, including on urban roads.

Although Andorra's borders remain open, foreign visitors must meet travel requirements set by neighboring France and Spain to reach the country. Tourists staying in Andorra for three days or longer are required to possess evidence of a negative COVID-19 test taken within the 72-hours prior to arrival; French, Spanish, and Portuguese nationals are exempt from this requirement, as are travelers from countries not designated as high risk by the European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control.

Authorities could reimpose, extend, further ease, or otherwise amend any restrictions with little-to-no notice depending on disease activity over the coming weeks.

Advice

Follow all official instructions. Abide by national health and safety measures. Reconfirm all travel arrangements. Consider delaying traveling if experiencing symptoms associated with COVID-19, as they may prompt increased scrutiny and delays. Liaise with trusted contacts for further updates and guidance.
