Mexico: Anti-government demonstrators to gather in cities nationwide October 12

Anti-government demonstrations have been planned by the National Anti-AMLO Front group in several cities across the country on Monday, October 12, to demand the resignation of President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador. Participants are expected to gather in front of federal government buildings across the country to deter government employees from entering.

Additional demonstrations are possible at plazas, squares, or public parks in major cities. A heightened security presence and localized transportation disruptions are to be expected in the areas affected.
