Demonstrations are scheduled for Wednesday, August 26, to protest against new political reforms and corruption in Argentina. Organizers have announced that protesters will gather at 16:00 (local time) in Buenos Aires in front of the National Congress, and possibly in front of other government buildings in towns and cities in the country. The protests have been organized via social media similarly to the last one that took place on August 17.

Some local media reports also suggest that further protests may take place at noon on Thursday, August 27; however, no exact locations have been confirmed.

A heightened security presence is to be anticipated in the vicinity of any protest site, along with disruptions to overland travel.
